Astra

Los Angeles, US

The sun resides some 26,000 light-years from the Milky Way's center, in a tendril of our home galaxy known as the Orion Arm. 109 times wider than Earth's surface, with a temperature of about 5,500 degrees Celsius, and 15.5 million Celsius at the core, illuminates and gives life to the planet Earth (NASA, 2018).

These series of photos try to get the beauty of the closest star to the earth.
